We offer self-check-in with a keypad. Check-in time is after 3:00 pm. Check-out time is before 10:00 am.
All cancellations if refunded will be refunded minus a 3% processing fee.
We will refund you 100% up to 15 days before your stay.
If your stay is within 15 days, we offer a partial refund. We will refund 50% of every night of your stay EXCEPT for the first night. There is no refund on the first night of your stay.
***NOTE – if you decide to change your dates within the 15 day cancellation period, to a date outside of the two week cancellation period, there will be the same policy as above for refunds unless your original booking date is filled for a full refund.
Example: You are booked for July 1 and today is June 29. You would like to move your dates to August 1 and we do so. If you decide to cancel the August 1 booking on June 30, you will only get the full refund if your original July 1 booking is filled by another guest.
Up to 4 guests maximum can stay in the domes.
Unfortunately no. We are not pet-friendly.
Smoking is not permitted inside the domes. There are multiple cigarette receptacles outside each dome and down on the dock. We ask that you please use these as one smouldering cigarette in those woods could be disastrous.
No, parties are not permitted.
We are a 45-minute drive from Halifax, less than 20 minutes from Chester, and roughly 40 minutes from Lunenburg.
We are only 10 minutes from the town of Hubbards – which boasts great attractions like local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, and a weekly farmers market. Read up on some fun things to do in the area.
The Shore Club is just 10 minutes from the property and hosts famous lobster suppers (a real, friendly maritime experience!), shows, and dances. They’ve been around for over 70 years and are a total favourite!
Rosa Rugosa, The Trellis Cafe, and Tuna Blue are some other great spots to check out! Black Harbour Distillery is a short drive away as well. At the time of this writing, it was only providing food on Saturdays, but things are always changing so check before you go if you want food. They are “Crafters of Fine Blended Spirits” from “Lobster Vodka” to Vanilla Glitter Rum”, vodka, gin and rum lovers should find it a delightful experience!
